Hi, I’m Sam. The founder and baker behind SamzSweetz. In 2020, I started baking desserts from my mom’s kitchen, turning a personal passion into a growing business. Rooted in my heritage and inspired by cherished family recipes, my journey began with a love for tradition and a desire to share my heritage with others. This monthly blog is my way to connect with you on a deeper level, share the why behind my business, and give you a look at what’s happening here at SamzSweetz. Family support at the forefront SamzSweetz is a small, family-run business that has grown into something so meaningful. I couldn’t do what I do without my family—from farmers market support, to everything behind the scenes—they are there supporting and cheering me on. I’m incredibly grateful. Recently, I welcomed my first team member outside of family, which feels like an exciting next step in this evolving journey. |
SamzSweetz evolution
Over the past five years, it’s been incredible to see the business grow—through farmers markets, baking classes, and genuine conversations with all of you. It has truly been an honor (and so much fun). In that same spirit of growth, I’m so excited to finally share some big news with you all! I’ve decided to rebrand my business—refreshing the colors, updating the logo, and introducing a new name. This feels like the perfect next step. And SamzSweetz isn’t going anywhere—everything you love about my products will stay the same. The only thing that will change is an even deeper focus on delicious Jewish baked goods. I can’t wait to share the new name with you next month, along with the meaning and story behind it. |
Also, I’m so grateful for the time I had away last month to enjoy my honeymoon with my husband. We had an incredible time exploring Asia together. It allowed me to have the space to reflect on my business and recharge before diving into this exciting rebranding project. In the meantime, explore my website more information regarding my baked goods, ordering, and events (like farmers marketings + baking classes). |
