After five years in business, Samz Sweetz has grown into something deeper and more intentional. What began as a playful name evolved alongside the craft, the community, and the role this bakery plays in people’s lives.
Kvell Bakery is the next chapter.
Kvell is a Yiddish word meaning deep pride and joy. It reflects Jewish heritage, tradition, and the feeling of standing back and recognizing what’s been built with care and intention.
This is not a new bakery. It’s the same baker, the same recipes, and the same commitment to quality and connection. Just a name that better reflects where the business is today.
Vision
I blend traditional Jewish baked goods with modern, everyday recipes. Each treat is crafted with care, offering a perfect balance of presentation, freshness, quality, and flavor. My mission is to inspire customers to connect through food.

"Everything Sam makes is incredible it’s hard to pick a favorite. We regularly order the Challah to make the most amazing French toast, my particular favorite is the lemon blueberry challah. Her orange scones are the best I’ve ever had. Whether it’s cookies, cupcakes, scones, Whoopi pies, brownies or challah rolls you really can’t go wrong. The hardest part is choosing what to order each week and not order everything!"
